Guam – Parents may soon be able to monitor their child’s school progress via the Internet. According to Department of Education Deputy Superintendent Of Finance Taling Taitano, DOE is purchasing laptops for all teachers. The agency is also working at making wireless Internet access available at schools so teachers may enter information from their classrooms.

“We should have good information for parents to be able to logon to our system and follow up on their child’s disciplinary concerns, as well as their grades,” she explained.

Laptops are expected to arrive at the beginning of the school year.
