Alingano Maisu arrives back to Palau

After almost a 6 weeks at sea, the crew members of Alingano Maisu including their Master Navigator Sesario returned back to Palau on Monday May 9th. The crew left Palau early April where they journeyed to Yap and its outer islands.

Additional crew members board the traditional canoe in Yap to experience the voyage back to Palau. The trip is part of the non-instrumental navigation program at Palau Community College and sponsored by the Micronesian Voyaging Society. A team from the National Geographic were also on board to the document the trip.
